Sunshine Spirits: LA Vodka & Boulon Brasserie

In early 2022, Yasar Chaudhary noticed the absence of a widely recognized American-made vodka in the super-premium category. His vision was to craft a vodka with unique distillation, proudly made in the United States and globally brandable. He saw this vision come to life in April 2022 when he created LA Vodka.

“Throughout my professional career, I have dabbled in many different types of businesses from food, supplements, skincare, real estate, tech and so much more,” explains Yasar. “When I saw a gap in the spirits market, it lit a fire in me.”

A few weeks after relocating from Los Angeles to Tampa, Yasar found himself seeking a lively spot to savor a top-notch martini. Drawn by the burgeoning reputation of Boulon Brasserie and Bakery as a culinary hotspot, he stopped in.

Since its opening under Next Level Brands Hospitality in January, the shared goal from ownership, management, and team members at Boulon has been to change the culinary aspect of Tampa Bay. From immaculate food to inviting yet complex cocktails, all provided within a breathtaking and lively space, Boulon is the future of Florida French cuisine. As Tampa grows, the demand for elevated yet approachable dining experiences is anticipated, and Boulon aims to fill this niche.

“I was impressed by the restaurant’s ambience and its inviting-yet-complex cocktail menu,” Yasar says. “After talking to some of the bar staff they introduced me to their manager, Alex.”

Alex Rosenbleeth’s culinary roots trace back to an Italian restaurant in his hometown of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The bonds formed there continue to influence his commitment to excellence.

“I started as a bus boy and a server in high school,” says Alex. “The family that I formed at that Italian restaurant was the reason I pursued a career in hospitality. They essentially watched me grow up, go on to college, and relocate here to Tampa, and I love that there’s a similar family dynamic behind the bar at Boulon.”

Since joining Boulon, Alex (pictured far right) has enjoyed a journey filled with personal growth and memorable encounters. His encounter with Yasar Chaudhary in mid-October was no exception.

“True to his character, Yasar ordered the Golden Ticket, a caviar martini,” Alex recalls. “He absolutely loved it.”

That martini order marked the beginning of a fruitful friendship. Now that LA Vodka has gone coast to coast and broken into the Florida market, Alex has invited Yasar and his team to officially join the Boulon family.

“I’m super thankful for Alex’s friendship and honored to be part of the Boulon family,” shares Yasar. “LA Vodka is truly America’s Luxury Vodka and I love that our product is now a catalyst for bringing people together in Florida. I couldn’t ask for a better place to serve it than Boulon.”

As Tampa’s hospitality industry continues to grow, both men envision enduring roles within it.

Looking ahead, they see the city’s hospitality industry evolving towards “laid back luxury” in the coming years. Aligned with Next Level Brand’s vision, Alex Rosenbleeth foresees a future of continued growth within the company and a lasting impact on Tampa’s dynamic hospitality community. For Yasar Chaudhary, the future of LA Vodka and his personal journey in the Sunshine State looks brighter every day.
